UIC Wins HEED Award… AGAIN!

UIC was awarded the 2020 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award (HEED) by INSIGHT Into Diversity. This annual award honors colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada for their demonstrated outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion. The comprehensive application measures an institution’s level of achievement and intensity of commitment in regard to broadening diversity and inclusion on campus through initiatives, programs, and outreach; student recruitment, retention, and completion; and hiring practices for faculty and staff. UIC has earned this honor for the 5th time this year, with previous years being 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2019.
