Don’t miss out on the remarkable talented poets as they share their own poetic words on this month’s theme:  Feeding the revolution towards anti-colonial futures

Guiding Questions:

  • What does liberation look like to you? What fuels your activism/revolution?
  • What are ways to avoid becoming the oppressors in the fight for liberation of all peoples?
  • How does education tie into shaping how we understand revolution and liberation?

Leading the night will be our featured poet: Luz Magdaleno Flores

Luz Magdaleno Flores is a Queer Chicana editor, writer, artist, and content creator based in Pilsen by way of Oxnard, California, also known as DJ Light of Your Vida.
