Students, facility and staff from all religious or spiritual backgrounds who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community are invited to apply here (https://forms.gle/78PEhQ8ttZkyM6ps6) to share a 5 minute story of their journey navigating faith, spirituality and Queerness at this event.
Those selected to share their stories of faith will be offered guidance and support in the telling of their stories through a writing workshop facilitated by Simon Tran (simontran.net) on October 24th, 12:00- 2:00 PM. Queer narratives on our experiences with faith are important as they often go untold and unseen, please consider contributing to this interfaith, intercultural exchange.
The event and workshop will be held at UIC's Gender and Sexuality Flex Space (BSB 183).
