Diversity Collaborative Committee

Mission Statement

The Diversity Collaborative Committee (DCC) at the University of Illinois Chicago was established to enable members of the committee and its administrators to collaborate, learn and strategize collectively in an effort to advance diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) in our campus teaching, research, and learning environment.

The DCC will serve as a platform for the various units' diversity advocates and professionals to work towards three main goals: internal sharing of resources and support, fostering a campus-wide learning community, and engaging in multidirectional advocacy and accountability initiatives to advance DEIB-centered policies and practices on our campus.
