We Are Not Numbers: Call for Participants!
The UIC Arab American Cultural Center (ArabAmCC) is actively accepting interview participants for the ongoing We Are Not Numbers project, a component of the Qissassna archival program which is housed at the Arab American Cultural Center.
This project seeks to capture the experiences of Arab and Arab American students at UIC, particularly Palestinians, in this moment of global turmoil and collective grief.
By sharing their stories, they hope to offer a fresh perspective genuine to the experiences of the community as they grapple with the impact of far-reaching global events.
Interviews are estimated to take 15-30 minutes and can be done virtually or in-person at the Arab American Cultural Center. Completed consent forms are required before any interview can be conducted, and will allow customization of how interviews will be handled within the Qissassna archival program.
For more information, please email arabamcc@uic.edu or call 312-413-3253.
