Aloha Poke Co. is a Chicago-based restaurant chain that has trademarked its name and been fighting against native Hawaiian run companies of the same name. The Aloha Center Chicago has lead the protests against the blatant cultural appropriation. Lanialoha Lee from the Aloha Center Chicago will join us to speak about this and discuss cultural appropriation.
