Beginning in November 2023, non-profit organizations will be organizing large-scale workshops to help thousands of Southwestern Border Migrants apply for employment authorization and Temporary Protected Status. Volunteers are needed. Spanish or Haitian Creole bilingual skills are particularly helpful but not necessary. Locations will vary but will mostly be at the Metcalfe Building, 77 W Jackson Blvd in downtown Chicago. Volunteers should be prepared to spend 4-5 hours at each workshop. Shorter sessions may be possible. This is ideal for student volunteers. If interested, please sign up!
