Join the UIC Latino Cultural Center and Sunrise Movement Chicago for an open art studio in preparation for the Chicago Youth Climate Strike. Bring your creativity and radical imagination to create artwork that demands climate action.
Everyone is welcome! All materials will be provided while supplies last.
Chicago Youth Climate Strike Friday, September 20, 2019 UIC rally 10:30am East Campus Quad. Walk together to Grant Park for the 11am march.
This program is co-sponsored by the UIC Office of Sustainability and the Great Lakes Center for Occupational Health and Safety; community organizations Greenpeace and the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization (LVEJO); and UIC student organizations Roosevelt Network, Student Alliance for Public Health and the Environment, and Urban Studies Student Association.
