issues are of great consequence to Asians and Asian Americans, particularly climate change. Asia is projected to be more impacted by climate change than other areas of the globe, and people of color here in the states are also often most affected by sea level rise and other changes. This workshop investigates environmental justice through the lens of the Asian American experience, discusses a few historical cases, and explores why Asian Americans are intricately tied to issues of environmental justice. Environmental justice can be deeply connected to our identities; we must reframe the narrative.
