Facilitated by Mansi Kathuria and Johnny Yoeun
Mansi Kathuria is a PAVE community organizer in Chicago. She works with the Pan Asian Voter Empowerment Network to build Asian and Immigrant power in the city through issue based campaigns and civic engagement. Before coming to Advancing Justice, Mansi worked on a number of progressive electoral campaigns in Chicago and throughout the country. She also spent two years as a labor organizer with National Nurses United
Johnny Yoeun is an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer Coordinator at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago. He grew up in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago and attended Columbia College Chicago while working on his degree for Business and Management. At the age of 17, Yoeun began volunteering at local community organizations and found his passion in healing and educating. He went on to work for the Chinese Mutual Aid Association, Multi-Cultural Youth Project, and the Cambodian Association of Illinois, where he also served as a board member.
